Its a very sad day for our town.

Ok been saying this for awhile but the hedgerow is coming out and they are in the field.

To those who think worrying about the erosion of our countryside is a waste of time.( see comment on previous post) Tell that to your children and your children’s children.

  1. Does Sue Hayman know about this. The last email she sent me, yesterday, said, “The Secretary of State has been asked to look at the application again…” This implies that the process isn’t done and dusted. Hope that’s the case but it’s probably too late for the wildlife

  2. Solastalgia : distress caused by environmental change/destruction. I think we have a lot of that in Cockermouth at the moment.
